  • What are the recommendations and whom should be given HPV vaccination ?
    • Routine vaccination-10-12 years females, minimum age of vaccination is : 9 years may be offered upto 45 years
    • No evidence to support use of booster doses
    • Can be given in women previously exposed or treated- protects against other genotypes
    • Routine screening to be done post-vaccination
    • No recommendation for HPV testing prior to immunisation
    • Contraindicated-pregnancy; safe in lactation
